How To Trade

How To Make a Trade Part 1

After finishing our school program, if you feel sure about yourself, you can make your first trade. However, we advise you not to start with huge amounts of money. Start off slowly to see how things work and slowly increase your trading budget.

Once you log into KuCoin exchange, click on the “Trade” tab at the top of the page and choose “Spot”. This button will take you to the trading market. Depending on which tab you click on, you will see different markets. The options are Bitcoin (BTC), KuCoin Shares (KCS), Stable Coin (USDⓈ), and ALTS (Includes Ethereum (ETH) and Neo (NEO)). Not all tokens are paired into every market, and the prices may vary depending on the market you are looking at.

If you would like to use BTC to buy NWC , please select the BTC market and use the search box to find NWC. Click on it to enter the NWC/BTC trade pair interface.

How To Make a Trade Part 2

Trading passwords can be set while you are doing a KYC. It is important that you do all the steps in the KYC process as the more steps you do, the safer your account will be.

When you are making a trade you have different options and settings. KuCoin offers four order types for customers. Each order has different functions, some allow you to buy cryptocurrencies at the price you want to and some allow you to choose how much money you wish to spend on crypto. You also have an option to protect your trades with stop orders etc.. Read all about orders in lessons 3 and 4.

Plus Trading Area

Beginners, who are just starting to learn about the crypto world have no idea which coins to buy or trade. Usually, that ends in them losing money, due to buying dead coins or coins with no future. This is why the KuCoin exchange decided to make a Plus Trading Area. In this area, you will find well-performing projects.

Tokens promoted to this area have already completed a strict screening process, meaning there are no shady and unstable coins in here. Once tokens are promoted to the Plus Area, users can assume that these projects are well-performing and have less risk than the tokens traded in the main market
